Welcome to Skeeterz Rum Bar Grill located deep in the Caribbean on the beautiful lush tropical island of St. Lucia in the West Indies. Skeeterz is an island style bar and grill on the southern end of Saint Lucia and only minutes fron the Hewannorra international airport - It's a breezy location with great tropical music and offers a real down island experience where both locals and visitors have fun. Skeeterz is simply a small local rum shop and we kicked it up a notch to improve comfort and create a relaxing place to sit back and cool out while you get into a tropical state of mind. We have THE absolute coldest beers on the island and offer a few specialty drinks made with 100% fresh fruit that's hand picked daily. Try one or three of our specialty Rum Drinks; the Slu Slammer, Creole Thunder or the Tropical Daze. Or, try our Margareeta, with fresh lime and salt. Of course we have Piton Beer, Heineken, Mackeson, Guiness, and Smirnoff Ice.

So, what is a rum bar? In the Caribbean, locals typically refer to alcohol as rum, it's basically a generic term for most all liquor, and they sell / serve it at the local rum shops, sometimes called rum shacks, and these are small bars where the locals will go to drink.
Skeeterz Rum Bar Grill is a modern version of the rum shop...we took a rum shop, kicked it up a notch (or two) with wireless, digital entertainment with flat panel TV's, unique cool zone systems, and a few more things. We trained our employee's and call it a local rum bar. It's still true to the Caribbean culture on St. Lucia, but visually more appealing and run professionally behind the scenes to insure a great customer experience.
Skeeterz Rum Bar Grill is NOT a fancy, commercialized establishment where only tourist visit, actually we are a favorite for the local professionals who appreciate great food, great service and a beautiful atmosphere to relax and party. If you live on St. Lucia, Skeeterz is THE place for great food and a cool hang out. If you are a visitor, you're treated like a long lost friend who came back to visit. OK, so where in the heck is Skeeterz Rum Bar Grill? On the south end of the tropical island of St. Lucia, deep in the Caribbean - approximately Latitude 13° 43' 0 N, Longitude 60° 57' 0 W. This is between Martinique and St. Vincent, just North West of Barbados.
Once on island, we are only minutes from the Hewannorra International Airport and can pick you up and/or drop you off if you want to visit. Once you land, we will come and get you so you can start off your tropical escape the right way...we'll even have a taxi waiting to take you to your place of stay after you're done. You can also check you bags earliy, and come on over for a drink and/or food before you leave...and we'll get you to your departure on time!
What about the Mosquito's? No problem mon, Get BUZZED or Get Bit. The tale goes; "If You Have Enough Rum In Your System, The Mosquitos Will Leave You Alone". And we believe them! And if ya really think about it, it's a real world recipe and it's a green solution too...no sprays in the environment!
